The scheme includes:

This is an opportunity to observe a creative team in the development of a new piece of writing and also seeing the directors work with the actors and writers. For this day you will be paid £12.21 p/hour for 8 hours. We will work with the trainee director to accommodate their schedule and when they can enter the room. This will take place between 6th May - 10th May.
-
Alongside this Chalk Line will also employ you to direct either a short monologue, duologue, or scene written as part of their new young writers group, working alongside local young talent. This again will be paid at £12.21 p/hour with rehearsals taking place 9am-3pm on May 30th and 1pm-4pm May 31st. The showcase will be 5pm-6pm May 31st. This provides the opportunity to gain a professional credit. Please only apply for this role if you are free on these days.
